In light of the development and digital transformation witnessed by our beloved Kingdom in all fields—which is one of the key objectives of Saudi Vision 2030—the College of Computer Science and Engineering was established to contribute to building the educational infrastructure necessary to prepare specialized generations capable of meeting the nation's needs in the various fields of computer science, which are considered the backbone of life, competition, and leadership in this era.

The college is witnessing a continuous movement towards excellence in embodying the university’s strategy to achieve academic accreditation and build an integrated system characterized by quality, regional, and global leadership. The college also strives to achieve the university’s vision, which aims for academic excellence, creativity, and innovation in university education, by equipping students with modern scientific and practical knowledge and skills, and contributing to the building of a more aware society.
 
Today, hundreds of male and female students are enrolling in the college to study various technical disciplines, joining their peers from educational institutions across the Kingdom in building a prosperous and leading future among the nations of the world.

The college also includes many qualified and distinguished faculty members in various technical fields, dedicated to delivering the highest quality of education through the use of the latest academic tools and technological methods to effectively convey the scientific content of the curricula and enhance the outcomes of the programs.
 
I would also like to highlight that the college is continuously working—according to its strategic plan—to develop its curricula and programs in line with the latest advancements in modern technology and related disciplines. The college places strong emphasis on preparing its graduates in accordance with international standards, promoting a culture of creativity and innovation, encouraging scientific research, and fostering active engagement between faculty members and students.
