Al Nairyah University College is dedicated to giving female graduates a top-notch education so they can support the community and advance its objectives. In 1423, the General Administration for Girls' Education in the Eastern Area oversaw the establishment of a women's college in the Al Nairyah Governorate. The first group of students for the school year 1423–1424 arrived at the college.
It was incorporated into the Ministry of Higher Education in 1429. The University was affiliated with King Faisal University in 1428. The College of Arts and Sciences for Girls has taken its place.
In 1429, it became a part of the Ministry of Higher Education. In 1428, the University became a branch of King Faisal University. Its name was changed to the College of Arts and Sciences for Girls.
The College of Dammam became a separate university in 1431, continuing a tradition of comparable institutions across the Kingdom. The University College changed its name to Al Nairyah University College and became one of the colleges at the University of Hafr Al Batin.
