About the college

The College of Applied Medical Sciences is the first medical college at the University of Hafr Al-Batin. It is considered one of the key contributors to the medical labor market, which suffers from a noticeable shortage of qualified professionals. Therefore, the College strives for excellence in preparing a generation of specialists in medical sciences and specialized practical knowledge, enabling them to pursue research and innovation while upholding the principles of the Islamic faith and adhering to good morals and values—core qualities needed by the College’s graduates.

The College administration is keen on exerting great efforts in multiple directions to achieve academic, educational, research, and service excellence, with the goal of continuously enhancing and developing the educational process.

The College offers four undergraduate academic programs:

  • Nursing (for male and female students),
  • Clinical Laboratory Sciences (female students only),
  • Clinical Nutrition (female students only),
  • Health Information Management and Technology (for male and female students).

It also offers two postgraduate programs (Master of Science in Medical-Surgical Nursing and Master of Science in Health Services Management), in addition to other approved programs. The College continues to work diligently to introduce more distinguished programs aligned with Vision 2030 by graduating highly qualified professionals in the healthcare field, keeping pace with the rapid advancements in healthcare within the Kingdom and meeting the growing and diverse needs of the health sector.
