the University of Hafr Al-Batin signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Middle East Healthcare Company, “Saudi German Hospitals Group”, on the sidelines of the activities of the World Health Forum, which was held in the city of Riyadh, with the aim of strengthening partnership in the fields of scientific research, innovation, education, training and community service.
the memorandum was signed by the University’s Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Badr bin Jamaan Al-Shaeri. On the part of the Saudi German Hospitals Group, the group’s medical director, Dr. Nizar Bahbari, in the presence of a number of representatives from both sides.
the memorandum aims to develop cooperation in implementing applied research projects in medical and health fields of national priority, and to provide clinical and practical training opportunities for male and female university students in the group’s hospitals, in addition to organizing workshops and training programs to develop the skills of medical and administrative staff, and implementing awareness initiatives and programs that contribute to community service.
dr. Badr Al-Shaeri explained that the signing of the memorandum comes as an extension of the university’s efforts to build strategic partnerships with public and private sector institutions, in a way that enhances the process of applied scientific research and contributes to preparing qualified national cadres capable of competing.
he pointed out that the agreement will contribute to raising the efficiency of medical training and education, developing scientific research outcomes, and supporting the quality of health services, in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
