Dean's Speech
Praise be to God, and prayers and peace be upon the most honorable of prophets and messengers.
The concept of applied colleges in Saudi universities is one of the foundations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, which sets a roadmap for economic and developmental work to make the Kingdom a leading model in all fields and strive for a prosperous future and sustainable development. The College of Applied Sciences is one of the university's most important colleges and a major supporter of one of the most important goals of the vision: improving the outcomes of the education and training system at all levels, from early education to lifelong education and training. It also aims to achieve international standards and keep pace with developments and modern requirements through education, qualification, and training programs.
The College of Applied Sciences at the University of Hafr Al-Batin seeks to offer high-quality programs in a variety of fields to raise the academic and professional level of its students, serving the requirements of the labor market by providing an attractive educational environment and qualified personnel, in addition to partnering with the public, private, and non-profit sectors. In conclusion, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the leadership of this great country for their continuous and significant support to universities and education in general. I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to the Ministry of Education and the leadership of Hafar Al-Batin University for the attention they give to the applied colleges, asking God Almighty for success and guidance.
