The University of Hafr Al-Batin participates in the Agricultural and Animal Products Festival

the university, represented by the College of Science - Department of Biology, in cooperation with the General Administration of Institutional Communication, participated in the Agricultural and Animal Products Festival organized by the Hafar Al-Batin branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, with the participation of a number of male and female faculty members.

 

the university's pavilion included a group of scientific and awareness corners that highlight the diversity of biological knowledge and its application areas. It displayed a group of agricultural seedlings with the aim of enhancing awareness of the importance of vegetation and ways to care for it, in addition to a corner on the relationship between plants and human health, which displayed models of plants and seeds supported by research results that illustrate their health and nutritional benefits.

 

the pavilion also included a botanical herbarium of the most important desert plants in the Kingdom, in addition to models and skeletons of a number of animals that highlight biodiversity and methods of classifying living organisms. The pavilion also contained a group of graduation projects and research for female students in the Biology Department. Which reflected their research skills and their ability to employ scientific knowledge to address environmental and biological issues.

 

the university's participation in the exhibition comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to enhance the knowledge and awareness presence in specialized events, and to support the participation of its employees in initiatives aimed at serving the community and achieving sustainable development.

 

the university invites visitors to the festival to visit its pavilion in the exhibition, which began on Monday, December 8, and will continue for three days, to view the scientific and research pillars and the knowledge and awareness exhibits included in the pavilion.
