the University of Hafr Al-Batin signed a memorandum of understanding with SEA Ventures with the aim of enhancing cooperation in the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation, and enabling university graduates to launch their pioneering projects, thus contributing to supporting the national economy and achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in diversifying the economy and enhancing the culture of entrepreneurship, on the sidelines of the Biban 2025 Forum.

the memorandum was signed by the University’s Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Muhammad bin Ateeq Al-Anazi, and by the company’s CEO, Dr. Abdul Salam Al-Kuwaiti.

the university's vice president for academic affairs explained that this partnership comes as an extension of the university's efforts to build an environment conducive to innovation and entrepreneurship, and to enable its students and graduates to acquire the skills that qualify them to compete in the labor market and contribute effectively to national development.

the memorandum aims to cooperate in a number of fields, most notably the design and implementation of initiatives and programs in entrepreneurship and innovation, and the establishment of an entrepreneurship club that serves university employees and students, in addition to providing accredited professional certificate programs and vocational training support to qualify national cadres.

areas of cooperation also include conducting joint research in the fields of entrepreneurship, providing scientific, research and technical consultations, supporting student projects and research initiatives for faculty members, in addition to exchanging knowledge, information and databases between the two parties, and benefiting from facilities and services in a way that achieves the public interest.

the two sides will also work to cooperate in media and marketing promotion of joint programs and initiatives, and participate in events organized by both parties in a way that enhances integration between the academic sector and the entrepreneurship sector.
