His Highness the Governor of Hafr Al-Batin launches the What They Done initiative in the presence of His Excellency the President of the University of Hafr Al-Batin.

his Highness Prince Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah bin Faisal, Governor of Hafr Al-Batin, inaugurated the “What They Cannot” initiative, which aims to raise the quality of linguistic practices in the governorate, in his office today, Tuesday, in the governorate, in the presence of His Excellency the University President, Professor Dr. Khalid bin Bani Al-Harbi, and a number of university leaders.

 

the initiative aims to strengthen the partnership and integration between the university, as an executive academic body represented by the Arabic Language Department in the College of Arts, in cooperation with the General Administration of Institutional Communication, and the relevant authorities in the governorate, and to unify efforts to improve the general linguistic scene through an integrated system of three main strategic stages, which are linguistic enlightenment, control and correction, and linguistic fatwa.

 

his Highness stressed the importance of qualitative initiatives that contribute to strengthening national identity and elevating the cultural appearance, praising the university’s role in activating cultural and knowledge initiatives that have a societal impact.

 

for his part, His Excellency the President of the University praised His Highness’s adoption of the initiative, stressing that the “What They Can Do” initiative came as an idea and an initiative from His Highness, and was developed in its executive form by the specialized college and department at the university, in order to enhance the status of the Arabic language, and to activate partnerships that support the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in the cultural and cognitive aspects.
