His Highness Prince Abdulrahman bin Abdullah bin Faisal, Governor of Hafr Al-Batin, sponsored the university’s celebration today on the occasion of the 95th Saudi National Day.
Upon his arrival at the ceremony venue at Hafr Al-Batin University, His Highness was received by the University President, Prof. Khalid bin Bani Al-Harbi, the university vice presidents, and several officials.
The ceremony was attended by several officials from government departments in the governorate, university leaders and staff from both academic and administrative sectors, as well as a large number of students.
His Highness inaugurated the accompanying exhibition titled “Saudi Achievements”, which showcased milestones in the Kingdom’s journey of development and progress since its unification by the founder, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud—may he rest in peace—and the achievements accomplished during the reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince—may God protect them.
The ceremony included the national anthem, a recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by a visual presentation titled “Our Pride by Nature”, and then a musical operetta titled “Our Homeland, Pride of Nations.”
The University President delivered a speech in which he congratulated the wise leadership on this cherished occasion, emphasizing that National Day is not merely a remembrance, but a moment to reflect on the values of unity, loyalty, and belonging, and to look forward to a future in which the nation advances confidently toward development and global leadership under the guidance of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince—may God protect them. He added that as the university celebrates this occasion, it renews its commitment to advancing its educational and research mission and contributing to the achievement of Vision 2030 goals.
He concluded his speech by praying that God continue to bless the Kingdom with security and prosperity, protect its wise leadership, and preserve the pride and progress of this beloved nation.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Highness the Governor of Hafr Al-Batin received a commemorative shield to mark the occasion.
