the university, represented by the University Vice Presidency - Department of Volunteer Work, in cooperation with the General Administration of Institutional Communication, participated in the initiative of the National Center for Vegetation Development and Combating Desertification, coinciding with International Volunteer Day 2025. It aims to promote home-based volunteer work and spread the culture of giving and social responsibility.

this participation comes within the framework of the university’s efforts to contribute to specific national initiatives that enhance environmental sustainability and support the Kingdom’s trends in developing vegetation and reducing desertification, in addition to enabling university employees and students to engage in volunteer work that serves society and the environment.

through this participation, the university seeks to enhance its awareness role, expand the scope of volunteer initiatives, and consolidate the values ​​of teamwork and environmental citizenship in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
