The University Security Administration, which works to oversee security matters in all facilities and structures in all branches, was formed in 1436 AH. Following His Excellency, the University Rector's approval, the department's name was changed to the University Security Department in order to establish the organizational framework and job descriptions for security work in order to achieve the preservation of lives and property and comply with security norms and regulations.
