Based on the principle of enhancing security, preventing risks, and protecting property and lives, the Risk Management Department was established at Hofuf University. Its objective is to avoid and minimize risks, focusing on addressing them proactively before they occur.

Preserving lives and property by implementing policies and procedures that limit the negative impacts of any danger threatening university members, property, or assets, and by working to raise awareness of the importance of risk mitigation.
Objectives
To ensure the safety of people and property, and to maintain the smooth operation of the university.
Developing a sophisticated risk management system that can predict disasters before they occur, and implementing a strategy for rapid response to mitigate their negative impacts should such disasters unfortunately occur.
Raising awareness by educating university staff about the importance of risk management, how to handle disasters or crises when they occur, and how to report them.
Reducing risks and crises by implementing necessary preventive measures to avoid business disruptions.
