The University of Hafr Al-Batin achieves second place in the National Index for Digital Education for the year 2024-2025.

in a new achievement that reflects the university’s leadership in digital transformation in education, the University of Hafr Al-Batin achieved “second” place in the National Index for Digital Education within the “Progress” level for the category of higher education institutions for the year 2024-2025 AD, issued by the National Center for E-Learning, confirming its excellence in implementing digital transformation initiatives and enhancing the quality of university education.

this indicator is a measure of the maturity of educational institutions in adopting digital education and employing it efficiently and sustainably, which contributes to raising the quality of education, promoting innovation and leadership, and represents a national tool to support digital transformation and enable decision-makers to develop an integrated digital educational system.

34 public and private universities and colleges participated in the index, providing qualitative initiatives in developing digital education and creating educational solutions that contributed to raising the quality of the educational process, enhancing beneficiary satisfaction, and consolidating the principles of inclusivity and equal opportunities in learning environments.

the level of progress included eleven universities that showed remarkable development in the application of digital education by strengthening their technical infrastructure and adopting modern educational practices based on digital technologies, as the University of Hafr Al-Batin came in second place among those universities.

the university presented a pioneering model in digital transformation through the Smart digital platform that employs artificial intelligence techniques through the Smart Lecturer and Smart Academic Mentor initiatives, with the aim of raising the quality of the educational process and supporting student success.

the National Center for E-Learning also reviewed the Zaki digital platform among the national success stories in the National Index for Digital Education report for the year 2024-2025 AD, in recognition of the university’s excellence in employing modern technologies and promoting innovation in education, and in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to develop university education based on creativity and technology.
