The Deanship of Research and Innovation at the university was established in accordance with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, as per decision number (5939/057/45) dated 30/3/1445 AH, which included the approval of the renaming of the Deanship of Graduate Studies and the Deanship of Scientific Research to the Deanship of Research and Innovation. It is affiliated with the Vise President of the University for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research and focuses on aspects of research, graduate studies, and innovation by introducing high-quality graduate programs aligned with labor market needs, in addition to developing the scientific research process, supporting research, and encouraging faculty members and interested parties to .publish research thru quality programs and initiatives
