The administration of the university wants to raise, grow, and enhance its performance in order to

guarantee the highest and best quality standards.

The Documents and Archives Center was established at the university and is connected to His Excellency

the Vice-Rector, Resolution No. 4356/057/42 dated 27/2/1442 AH. This was done after reviewing the

Documents and Archives System issued by Royal Decree No. M/54 dated 10/23/1409 AH and its unified

regulations.

Responsibility and Duties:

1. Integration and coordination with the appropriate authorities to ensure document service and safety

2. Coding, archiving, and upkeep of the university sectors' papers after indexing, scanning, and

classification.

3. Supplying the data, documents, and information required by the organizing rules for the university

sectors.

4. Working with the appropriate university personnel to train and certify the center employees in their

respective fields of specialization.

5. Taking all incoming transactions and letters to the center, recording them, and directing them to the

appropriate administrative departments.

6. Administrative and technical coordination of the evaluation, expulsion, and destruction committees'

activities as well as the work of the Standing Committee for Documents.

7. The historical oversight of the university's founding, its systems, bylaws, plans, programs, and

initiatives, as well as its administrative and procedural rules.

8. Make an effort to set up locations for document storage and to offer suitable tools for keeping and

safeguarding records.

9. Monitoring and assessment of the university's administrative units' use of document systems, laws,

and supporting documentation.

10. Collaborate with the university's competent departments to establish formal, measurable

requirements for documents, to standardize related papers, and to stop creating documents that are not

required.

11. Identify the administrative and financial requirements for the center so they may be accounted for in

the university's yearly budget.

12. Creating the Center's work plans and programs for the upcoming year and five years.

13. Address the auditors' questions and give them guidance.

14. Any additional responsibilities imposed on the center by the university administration in its area of

expertise.
