The Health, Environment, and Safety Department was established by University Vice President Resolution No. 22660, dated 10/16/1443 AH. The Health, Environment, and Safety Department in educational institutions constitutes a system that addresses the prevention of work-related injuries and illnesses, as well as the protection and promotion of health. Occupational health involves maintaining the highest degree of safety and physical and mental health of workers in all professions. It also effectively contributes to increasing their productivity, both quantitatively and qualitatively, and reducing losses resulting from accidents, God forbid, and their economic and social impacts. The Health, Environment, and Safety Management System is the general framework through which all responsibilities related to occupational safety and health are managed for all employees and those dealing with any institution. This system helps institutions increase the effectiveness of their performance by working in an integrated manner that ultimately achieves a high level of quality.
