The Cybersecurity Department was established in accordance with Royal Decree No. 5232 dated 24/02/1441 AH, which stipulated the establishment of an independent department dedicated to cybersecurity. The establishment of the department was further formalized by the decision of the President of Al-Hafar Al-Batin University, issued under number 41/057/5233 on the same date. The department's mission is to enhance cybersecurity, protect the university's technological assets, and manage potential cybersecurity risks to ensure the continuity of the university's academic, research, and administrative operations.
