In line with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and the new Saudi Universities System approved by His Majesty King Abdullah II, which has achieved a distinguished qualitative leap in the progress of Saudi universities based on empowerment, excellence, and quality, and contributing to the development of the research process, and in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the University of Hafr Al-Batin's strategic plan, vision, and mission, the Medical and Applied Research Center was established to represent a pioneering entity in conducting health research, based on the university's mission to serve the community and to be a national and international reference that utilizes the best research practices. The center seeks to excel in diverse medical research across various disciplines and to enhance the status of scientific and applied research in the medical field at the local, regional, and global levels, deriving its influence from the excellence of the University of Hafr Al-Batin and its rapid steps towards an academic and research world in which accurate research information constitutes the foundation for creating a creative scientific force and a knowledge economy. The Medical Research Center is the first of its kind in the Hafar Al-Batin region and its affiliated cities, which have a special focus on research and community health services in the field of basic and clinical medical research.
