It gives me great pleasure to welcome you on the website of the University Vice-Rectorate, which we seek to be one of the important means of introducing the Vice-Rectorate, deanships, and their affiliate administrations. I also hope that it would be one of the effective means for supporting the Vice-Rectorate role in the development system that the university aspires to realize within its strategic vision.
 
The University Vice-Rectorate for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research represents one of the significant edifices of the university, and one of the bases of its launch to become a pioneering educational institution, regionally and globally, to play a pivotal role in providing an attractive and stimulating environment for creativity through both systems of graduate studies and scientific research, especially with the unlimited support for the movement of science and education provided by His Majesty the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince - may God protect them – by paying attention to university education to reach global leadership and realistic distinction in building the knowledge community.
 
As mentioned above, the University Vice-Rectorate for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research seeks to provide a stimulating environment for innovation and distinction in its educational and research outputs. The Vice-Rectorate is keen to graduate distinguished pioneering generations, to create graduate programmes, to develop scientific research which is considered one of the most significant tools for implementing the ambitious Kingdom’s Vision 2030, to join the university in economic and social development and transformation into the knowledge economy owing to the important role that the scientific research plays in the advancement and progress of nations in their various developmental fields, and to transform knowledge into an economic industry that contributes to the development and well-being of communities. The Vice-Rectorate seeks academic and research distinction by providing the renewable infrastructure (including, libraries, information sources, various electronic services, consulting institutions, specialized research centers, and laboratory equipment) and providing the continuous funding through the houses of expertise, research centers, etc.…
The Vice-Rectorate also chooses the prestigious international universities for scholarship of teaching assistants and lecturers. Out of the Vice-Rectorate’s keenness on governance in its procedures and decisions, it has adopted automation and electronic services as its approach. The Vice-Rectorate also works, through the deanships, the scientific council, and the relevant specialized administrations and committees, to provide the university with distinguished national academic cadres, and to develop and advance their skills in partnership with the various other various university units and in an integrative institutional manner, to raise the level of the academic and research outputs and improve their quality in order to fulfill the requirements of the national and international accreditations at the University of Hafr Al Batin.
 
In conclusion, I hope that this website would continue its distinguished and renewable contributions to providing and advancing the educational and research process at the university, and that it would meet the aspirations of His Excellency the President of the University and the ambitions that the Vice-Rectorate’s employees seek to achieve, wishing everybody every success.
