The University Security Department was established in 1436 AH (1436 AH) to oversee security affairs at all facilities and buildings across all campuses. Following the approval of His Excellency the University President, its current name was changed to the University Security Department. The department developed an organizational structure and job descriptions for security work to ensure the preservation of lives and property and comply with security standards and regulations.
